Putting numbers on the plan
Every recommendation below is counted at stakes from the game’s own ladder, so you can take the arithmetic straight to the lobby.
Strategy in Pirots 5 means budget and tempo. The reels are settled by a random number generator and no staking pattern touches that, which is why this page spends its time on the things you genuinely decide: how much a spin costs, how many spins you get, which world you spend them in, whether you ever pay for the bonus rather than waiting for it, and when you stop.
What volatility 7 of 10 does to a balance#
Seven of ten means an uneven curve. In practice you get a lot of small collections, since something lands on 25.1% of spins by the product sheet and 26.11% in the demo configuration, and gems that have not been upgraded yet pay at the bottom of their ladder: 5 or 10 coins against a bet worth 100. Then a round arrives that was built rather than drawn, with lifted gems on a wider board, and it settles the evening on its own. The balance does not drift gently downward and then recover; it grinds, then jumps.
Two consequences follow, and they are the whole basis of a Pirots 5 plan.
The first is that the length of your session matters more than the size of your stake. The big rounds are what make the published return achievable, and they are spread thin by design, so for the same turnover the player who takes 200 spins at a modest level sees four times as much of the game’s cycle as the one who staked four times as much and lasted 50. Pirots 5 does not reward being bold, it rewards being present.
The second is that flat stretches are the normal state of the game, not a warning sign and not a signal. A long quiet run carries no information about what comes next. The meter above the grid is quietly filling during it, which is a genuine comfort, but a filled meter is a mechanic, not a promise. The RTP page has the theoretical framing; this page is about the practical one.
Pick the bet that fits your session#
Start from the number of rounds you want, not the amount you are willing to stake. Auto spin conveniently counts in 10, 25, 50 and 100 rounds, which makes the arithmetic easy:
| Your bet | 25 rounds | 50 rounds | 100 rounds | Bonus Hunt (3x) | Round cap (10,000x) |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 0.20 EUR | 5 EUR | 10 EUR | 20 EUR | 0.60 EUR | 2,000 EUR |
| 1.00 EUR | 25 EUR | 50 EUR | 100 EUR | 3 EUR | 10,000 EUR |
| 10 EUR | 250 EUR | 500 EUR | 1,000 EUR | 30 EUR | 100,000 EUR |
| 100 EUR | 2,500 EUR | 5,000 EUR | 10,000 EUR | 300 EUR | 1,000,000 EUR |
Those are turnover figures rather than losses: at a payback of up to 96.0% the theoretical cost of a run is a fraction of the column, and it widens with every step down the configuration ladder, which is why the figure in the lobby is worth reading before the stake is. What the table is for is calibration. If 100 rounds at 1.00 EUR is 100 EUR of turnover and that feels like more than you want in play tonight, drop a level or two rather than shortening the session. The same 100 EUR buys 100 rounds at 1.00 EUR and 500 at 0.20 EUR, which is five times as many chances to be present when a round finally goes.
The cap column is worth a glance for a different reason. At 0.20 EUR a maximum round is still 2,000 EUR, so the bottom of the ladder is not a consolation version of the game. Every feature, every payout level and every token counts identically down there.

When X-iter is worth it#
Five prices, all bought from the base game, all carrying the same theoretical payback as the game itself:
| Mode | Price | At 0.20 EUR | At 1.00 EUR | What you are buying |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Bonus Hunt | 3x | 0.60 EUR | 3 EUR | More than 4x the bonus chance in the Cursed Temple, 5x in the other worlds |
| Mega Hunt | 10x | 2 EUR | 10 EUR | More than 10x or 20x that chance |
| World coin game | 50x | 10 EUR | 50 EUR | That world’s coin game, guaranteed |
| Bonus | 100x | 20 EUR | 100 EUR | The bonus game, guaranteed |
| Super Bonus | 250x | 50 EUR | 250 EUR | The super bonus game, guaranteed |
Start with what a price actually is. Super Bonus at 250x costs exactly what 250 ordinary spins cost. That is the honest way to read it, and it is also the comparison to make before pressing: 250 base spins at 1.00 EUR is a long session with a full share of collections, upgrades and possible bonuses; 250 EUR spent in one press is a single round. Both have the same theoretical return. They have completely different session shapes.
So the decision comes down to what you want from the evening. The two hunt modes, at 3x and 10x, are the mild version: they raise the chance of the bonus arriving while you carry on playing normally, and at 0.60 EUR or 2 EUR a press on a minimum stake they barely move a budget. The 50x, 100x and 250x prices are the concentrated version: fewer rounds, bigger swings, and a session that is essentially a handful of decisions rather than a few hundred spins.
One practical note that catches people out: X-iter is activated in the base game, so if you plan to buy, do it from a standing start rather than reaching for it mid-round. And across the full ladder the prices run from 0.60 to 25,000 EUR, which is a span worth double-checking before you press anything at the upper bet levels. The features page has the mechanics of each mode.

Three session plans, priced#
Abstract advice is easy to nod at and hard to use, so here are three plans with the arithmetic already done, each built from the game’s own ladder.
The long evening, 0.20 EUR. Four auto-spin runs of 100 rounds is 400 spins for 80 EUR of turnover, and at roughly a quarter of spins paying something you will collect steadily throughout. Keep X-iter to Bonus Hunt at 3x, which is 0.60 EUR a press, and use it only once you have settled into a world and want the bonus sooner. This plan maximises time on the board, which is the thing that matters most at 7 of 10 volatility.
The focused hour, 1.00 EUR. Two runs of 100 rounds is 200 EUR of turnover, with Bonus Hunt at 3 EUR and Mega Hunt at 10 EUR as the mild accelerators. Set the reality check to 30 minutes, and treat the second reminder as the end of the session rather than a checkpoint. A round cap of 10,000 EUR sits above this stake, so the upside is genuinely open while the pace stays readable.
The short, sharp sitting. If you have a fixed amount and no time, the honest version is a small number of bought rounds rather than a rushed grind. At 0.20 EUR a Bonus press at 100x costs 20 EUR, so five of them come to 100 EUR and give you five guaranteed bonus games. That same 100 EUR would buy 500 base rounds at the same stake. Both paths carry the same theoretical payback, so you are choosing variance and nothing else: five decisive rounds against five hundred ordinary ones.
What none of the three plans includes: raising the stake after a flat stretch. Nothing in the game’s behaviour supports it. The rounds are drawn independently, and a bigger bet simply spends the budget faster. It does not make the board more generous.
Pick a world that fits your style#
The three worlds share their maths, so this is purely a question of what you enjoy sitting through.
The Cursed Temple is the most structured. Its coin game triggers when the secret door clears the grid, and the catacomb fight is the one Captain Blackfeather is guaranteed to win, which gives the world a sense of momentum you can follow. The Kraken is the open-ended one: its coin game runs three drops that reset every time a landing symbol appears, so rounds there stretch unpredictably. The City of Gold is the busiest, playing its coin game across the full 8x8 board with the Mastermind expanding to cover up to 5x5.
Rotating between them is the sensible default, because the nine tokens, three per world, accumulate globally and permanently unlock Boss Castle. Spreading your play across the map is the only thing in this game that earns you a fourth world. A token also pays as it lands, at the value of a 5x coin, so the collecting never costs you anything.
What to actually watch while you play#
There is a version of this game where you stare at the balance, and a better one where you read the board. Three things tell you where a session stands.
The meter. It fills with collected gems and wilds and queues a feature-symbol release each time, up to three pending. A session where the meter is filling is a session that is building even when the balance is flat. Three releases landing at once is the moment worth waiting for, and it is visible in advance.
The payout level of your gems. This is the difference between a collection worth a twentieth of your bet and one worth 25x it, since red runs from 10 coins at level 1 to 2,500 at level 7. When upgrades have lifted the board, the argument for staying at the table is specific rather than superstitious. It is also the moment an X-iter purchase does most for you, since the bonus inherits the gem level you built.
The token count. Three per world, nine in total, and global. Progress towards Boss Castle is the only part of a Pirots 5 session that cannot go backwards, which makes it a genuinely useful goal to set when the reels are quiet: finish this world’s three tokens, then stop.
The tools inside the client#
Two settings are worth using on every session. Auto spin holds your stake steady across 10, 25, 50 or 100 rounds, which is more useful than it sounds: manual spinning is where bet levels creep upward after a flat stretch, and a 50-round run at a fixed level removes that entirely. The reality check, set to 15, 30, 45 or 60 minutes, is the other one: the only control in the game that is about your evening rather than the reels.
A last word on shortcuts, because the word “strategy” invites the question. Every round is drawn independently, which is the good news rather than the bad: independence is exactly what makes the published return meaningful in the first place. The game backs it with a plain rule for the edge case: in the event of a malfunction, all bets and wins of that round are void, so a technical failure never leaves you with a disputed result. Our responsible gambling page covers the limits worth setting, and the slot’s main page has the full profile when you are ready to play.
