The Pirots series

The Pirots franchise has been rebuilt every time it returned: a 5x5 board, then CollectR and X-iter, then 6x7, then a global multiplier, then space. Pirots 5 is the sixth, and it is the one that put three worlds inside a single game.

  1. Pirots7 March 2023. The original: birds on a 5x5 grid and the collection idea that gave the franchise its name.
  2. Pirots 27 November 2023. The pivot of the six, because it introduced both CollectR and X-iter, the two systems every later chapter is built on.
  3. Pirots 325 June 2024. The board grows to 6x7, the first time the series traded a tighter grid for more room to walk.
  4. Pirots X24 October 2024. A side chapter rather than a numbered sequel: a 5x5 'blimey' slot built around a global multiplier.
  5. Pirots 424 July 2025. The space chapter, and the immediate predecessor of the current release.
  6. Pirots 523 July 2026. A 6x6 grid expanding to 8x8, three playable worlds under one game id and Boss Castle unlocked by nine tokens.

The birds are easier to remember than the number beside them, which is why “Pirots” gets typed far more often than “Pirots 3”. This page sorts out the number: six games, six boards, one continuing idea, and one of them is the current release with a demo you can start in a tap.

The order of the series#

The franchise has arrived almost annually since 2023:

  • Pirots, 7 March 2023
  • Pirots 2, 7 November 2023
  • Pirots 3, 25 June 2024
  • Pirots X, 24 October 2024
  • Pirots 4, 24 July 2025
  • Pirots 5, 23 July 2026

The one that breaks the pattern is Pirots X, which sits between the third and fourth games. It is not a numbered sequel but a side chapter: a 5x5 slot built around a global multiplier rather than a bigger board. If you have ever wondered why the count does not match the numbering, that is why.

The other thing the dates show is a habit. Pirots 4 landed on 24 July 2025 and Pirots 5 on 23 July 2026, a day apart in the calendar and twelve months apart on it, and each arrived as a full package rather than a quiet update. For Pirots 5 that meant three product sheets, one for each world, plus a single game id, 10266, covering all three. You can see what that buys you in the free demo , which opens on the same world map the paying version does.

What each chapter added#

The matrix above lines the six up. Reading it left to right, the shape of the series is a studio rebuilding its own idea rather than iterating on it.

The original established the vocabulary: birds walking a 5x5 board, collecting what sits beside them. The second chapter is the pivot, because it introduced CollectR and X-iter together: the collection engine that decides how a win is formed, and the priced entry that decides how quickly you reach the bonus. Every release since has been a variation on those two.

The third chapter went for room, moving to a 6x7 grid. Pirots X went the other way, keeping a small 5x5 board and putting the drama in a global multiplier instead. Pirots 4 took the birds off-planet for its theme. And Pirots 5 combined both instincts: a 6x6 board that expands to 8x8 while you play, plus a structure the series description does not give any earlier chapter, three playable worlds under one game id.

What is deliberately absent from that matrix is maths. Grid sizes, themes and mechanics can be compared across chapters; returns, hit rates and ceilings cannot, because each title carries its own. A number you remember from Pirots 3 has no bearing on what Pirots 5 does.

Pirots 5: what the sixth chapter does differently#

One game, three worlds. Cursed Temple, The Kraken and City of Gold sit on a map you choose from on entry, and each brings its own ten feature symbols, its own corner fight, mummy, land crab or shaman, and its own coin game. The maths is shared, so this is a choice of pacing rather than of value, and switching costs nothing.

Above them sits Boss Castle. Three tokens hide in each world, nine in total, and collecting all nine unlocks a fourth world permanently: three reels, one row, one payline and a bonus game of its own, sitting on top of a 6x6 collection slot. Its own X-iter entries go further than the three worlds’ do, with Boss Battle carrying three features, Castle Mayhem four and Ultimate Showdown five. Progress is global and it persists between sessions, and a token also pays as it lands at the value of a 5x coin.

Under all of that runs the engine the series has been refining since the second chapter, and Pirots 5 gives it more room than any chapter before: 36 grid positions at the start, 64 at full stretch, against the 25 of the original 5x5 board. Four birds collect gems in their own colour and every feature symbol beside them, without fixed paylines; a meter above the grid queues feature-symbol releases, up to three pending at once, landing together. X-iter offers five prices, 3x, 10x, 50x, 100x and 250x the bet, and every mode carries the same theoretical payback as the game.

The numbers that belong to this chapter, and only this one: payback up to 96.0% depending on the casino and the market, volatility rated 7 of 10, a 10,000x cap on a single round and a bet ladder from 0.20 to 100 EUR across 12 levels. The features page has the mechanics in full and the RTP page has the arithmetic.

Why the franchise outgrew its own numbering#

A franchise that rebuilds itself every year creates a specific problem for players: the name is a promise the maths does not keep. Someone who knows the birds from the original 5x5 board and opens Pirots 5 finds 36 positions stretching to 64, three worlds to choose between and a meter queueing up to three feature releases at once. The vocabulary is the same; the game is not.

That is worth stating because it changes how you should read anything written about “Pirots”. A ceiling, a hit rate or a payback figure attaches to one chapter only. The figures on this site are Pirots 5’s: a published range topping out at 96.0% depending on the casino and the market, volatility 7 of 10, a 10,000x round cap and a bet ladder from 0.20 to 100 EUR across 12 levels. Quote them about this game and they are accurate; carry them to another chapter and they are fiction.

What genuinely carries across the six is design intent. Each release gives the birds a new problem to solve, whether that is a wider board, a global multiplier, a new theme or a map with three destinations on it, while keeping the collection walk at the centre. That is why the series feels continuous even though almost nothing in the maths is shared.

Coming from Pirots 3 or Pirots 4#

If an earlier chapter is your reference point, here is what changes when you sit down at the sixth.

You get a choice before the reels. The earlier games handed you a board. This one hands you a map with Cursed Temple, The Kraken and City of Gold on it, each with its own ten feature symbols, its own corner fight against a mummy, a land crab or a shaman, and its own coin game. All three run under one game id, 10266.

The board grows during play. 6x6 at the start, 8x8 at full stretch, which is more room for a collection to keep running before it stops.

There is something to finish. Nine tokens, three per world, unlock Boss Castle permanently: three reels, one row, one payline and a bonus of its own. The progress is global and it persists, so the count you leave at midnight is the count you find tomorrow, and a token pays as it lands at the value of a 5x coin, which means collecting them costs nothing.

The engine is the one you know. Four birds still collect what sits beside them, the meter above the grid still queues feature-symbol releases up to three at a time, and X-iter is still the priced door into the bonus, at 3x, 10x, 50x, 100x and 250x the bet, activated from the base game.

The numbers are new. Up to 96.0% depending on the casino and the market, volatility 7 of 10, a 10,000x round cap and a ladder from 0.20 to 100 EUR across 12 levels. Whatever figures you remember from an earlier chapter, replace them with these.

Can you compare the numbers between chapters?#

The honest answer is that you cannot, and it is worth being clear about why. Each Pirots title runs its own maths. The grids differ, the feature sets differ, the payout ladders differ, and a return figure is a property of a specific build rather than of a franchise. So when a forum post quotes a ceiling or a hit rate for “Pirots”, the only safe question to ask is which one.

What does carry across is design language. If you enjoyed the collection rhythm of an earlier chapter, you will recognise it here, because it is the same idea grown up: more board, more feature symbols, more to build before the bonus. The practical continuity is X-iter, part of the series since the second chapter, so the panel you learned in an earlier game is the panel you open in this one, at 3x, 10x, 50x, 100x and 250x the bet. And if X-iter was what you liked, it is here at five prices with its payback rule stated in the game’s own rules panel.

Everything measurable about this chapter lives on the RTP page , and the Pirots 5 main page is where the whole profile sits beside a demo you can start immediately. If you are choosing between this and something outside the family, similar slots sets out the four traits worth matching.
